The BMW X5 flipped, hit a light pole, smashed through a fence into parked cars and several units leaving a trail of destruction. Residents thought a bomb had exploded when the out of control luxury car smashed into several townhouses in Melbourne’s north. Police say the BMW sedan was travelling south along Atkin Blvd when it overtook a Mazda sedan. The driver lost control, crashing into a light pole just before 11pm. The Mazda also hit the light pole but two females in the car were not injured. Six cars were damaged in total, including a silver Mercedes C63 AMG
