Eddie Griffin Destroys $1.5 million Ferrari Enzo - (and he doesn't even own it!!!)

Actor Sends Director's Enzo to the grave, making it the 14th Enzo to be destroyed.

The story in a nut-shell: Actor-comedian was practicing on Monday, March 26th for a charity race to promote his upcoming film, "'Redline,'' when he drove too fast around a curve at the Irwindale Speedway. The Ferrari was travelling at over 35 mph when it crashed into a barrier.

Eddie Griffin dispels rumors the crash was a publicity stunt to promote his new film
An angry Griffin told "People" magazine that the crash was definitey not a publicity stunt and that he actually sustained some injuries in the crash including a knot on the head and bruises.

The media began to suspect the crash was a hoax because there was a cameraman standing behind the barrier who didn't even flinch when the car came within a few feet of him.

"The crazy thing is ... the newscasters, they're more concerned with the car," he complained. "If you watched the news, they were saying, 'Eddie Griffin wrecked a million-and-a-half-dollar car.' How about, 'Is Eddie Griffin okay?' Now my mamma and my children are watching television. At least say I'm okay. You can give my mamma a heart attack."
