Description:
This accident occurred on the Syncrude open pit tarsand mine in Fort McMurray. The red truck parked in front of the ore truck to perform some repairs. The operator of the ore truck was eating lunch in the cab during his break and didn't see the welder pull up on the blind side. At the end of the break, the operator started the truck and attempted to drive away.

Injury Report:
The welder was not in the truck at the time but was sent to hospital with chest pains.
