On Wednesday, July 4th, 2012, a Union Pacific coal train derailed while crossing the rail bridge over Shermer Road in Northbrook, IL.

Authorities had, as first, reported that no one had been injured. On Thursday, while clearing out the spilled coal and railcars, this car was spotted with two bodies inside, that of a 69-year-old Chicago lawyer and his 70-year-old wife.
