Description:
Based in Cyprus with the British Army, I was
overtaking a colleague in a Golf GTI, uphill. As i went into an S bend, I
saw a girl on a mountain bike, and braked, the back wheels locked up, and i
fishtailed up hill for about 100m before slamming into the crash barriers
(stopping me from going over a cliff) and the bouncing across the other side
of the road and putting the car on its side with all 4 wheels coming to rest
on a near verticle cliff wall. I had to climb out of the drivers seat!
