So what happened to this barbecued black beauty? Its 6.3 litre, 651hp monster front-mounted motor caught fire on the motorway in Hong Kong, China – immediately after leaving a tunnel.
This of course is not the first time an FF has gone up in smoke. In 2011, just weeks after launch, an FF burnt to a crisp in Germany. Another one caught fire in Poland not too long after that, as seen in the photo below.
As the latest inferno shows, the aforementioned Frankfurt Flamer was perhaps the first but it’s certainly not the last. We’ll keep you posted.
