A Bugatti Veyron, the most expensive production car in the world, ended up in 2 feet of water after the owner lost control due to a "low flying pelican".
The driver, who wished to remain anonymous, was driving in Galveston County, Texas looking at real estate. As he was driving by a lagoon, a pelican came out of nowhere and startled him. The owner jerked the wheel, dropped his cell phone, and the Bugatti's front tire left the road, ultimately ending up in the salt water.
This marks the 4th Bugatti Veyron to be wrecked (5 if you count the one that spun out in France during a demonstration by a test driver). (video clip below)
