The cars owner was separated from his wife, and his 15 year old son was not too happy about his parents getting a divorce so one night he took his dad's keys and took the corvette for a joy ride. He lost control and crashed into a couple of street signs and a curb. His dad was very mad about the whole deal and took his soon to be ex wife to court over who's insurance was gonna pay. This all took about a year meanwhile the corvette was sitting at a body shop, the owner of the body shop filed for a title while the owners were fighting in court and sold the car leaving the owner with nothing. The motor, trans axle, suspension, and interior are now getting installed in a 1967 SS Camaro.
