Nissan Z-Series 350Z
Fort collins, CO
Two burglars broke into a man's house in the middle of the night in the nearby town of Loveland, beat him and then tied him and his wife up. They took his car keys to the 350Z parked in his driveway. The burglar duo then proceeded to take the Fairlady Z for a reckless joyride all over the town of Loveland and to top it off by driving north towards the city of Fort Collins at a high rate of speed losing control and wiping out at an estimated 120+ MPH just outside Fort Collins city limits. The wreck was discovered the next day by a passing motorist who spotted the crumbled white ball way out in a field. When the Sheriff's department arrived they found the crippled thief driver still strapped into the seat, needless to say he had soiled himself and was hanging upside down and his accomplice was nowhere to be found. This photo of the wreck hauled away on a flatbed ran the next day in the local paper. This incident occured around late 2010/early 2011.
