Returning from the dentist (no drilling! the best news of the day), road damp, coming out of a compression and round a roundabout when I lost the back end as the power came on at c.40mph. Next thing, I realise is that I am heading towards a tree when both airbags have gone off and the car's a write off. But I drove it home!!
