The car seems to have lost control at a fairly high rate of speed before impacting the tree and completely wrapping itself around it. This is quite an old car and with a big heavy engine up front it might make it 'easier' to have 'folded' like this. No details on the driver as yet but I am sure some extremely serious injuries (if not fatal) would have been the case. Zero2Turbo.com
