Hatboro, PA
The owner had just received the car back from the shop, where it was fully restored and modified, including a big block engine, supercharger, new suspension, drag slicks, rollcage, etc. He entered it into the Hatboro Car Show. After the show, he let his brother drive the car home. About a mile from the show, the brother floored the gas, causing the car to pop a wheelie (note the wheelie bar), run off the road, plow down a street sign, then fall into a creek. Police and firemen showed up to haul the car from the creek and towed it back to the same autoshop that had just finished restoring the car. The driver was hospitalized, where it was determined that he was both drunk and high at the time of the accident.
