A driver of a sports car was hospitalized with significant injuries after crashing into a light pole, Las Vegas Metro police said Tuesday. Police reported the single vehicle accident on Tropicana Avenue near Town Center Drive at about 1:15 p.m. According to Metro, the driver of a Ferrari lost control and hit the light pole in the center median. Police were looking at speed as a factor in the accident.
