A BRITISH sports car crashed off the road after coming across damp road conditions, according to the police. Officers attended a crash on Monday, April 10 after a Morgan Aero 8 crashed into a ditch on the A337 near Lyndhurst. The driver reportedly said the damp road conditions “caught him out” but police say “cars don’t leave the carriageway for no reason”. A spokesperson for Hampshire Roads Policing Unit said the driver had a “lucky escape”, adding: “Think and always drive to the conditions, no matter how changeable.
