September 19, 2022 On Monday at 4:20 p.m., the 36-year-old from Mühlviertler drove his snow-white Bentley on Wegscheider Straße, coming from Linz in the direction of Leonding. At the same time, the tram was heading out of town. For reasons that are not yet known, the driver drove into the intersection there despite crossing traffic, collided with the tram and subsequently with a street lamp. The driver of the car and the tram were uninjured in the accident.
