The 38-year-old initially lost control of his sports car at excessive speed and skidded in a right-hand bend. Then he came off the road to the left and hit a tree there with the passenger side. The force of the impact was so violent that, according to the police, the sports car was torn into three parts and the driver, although he was wearing a seat belt, was thrown out of the Ferrari. Due to the seriousness of his injuries, he died at the scene of the accident.
