Mr Parr claimed he swerved his silver soft-top Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet 996 Generation 2 (one of only 19 limited edition models made) into a driveway to miss a head on collision, and then a car hit the side of his treasured vehicle. He said two vans parked on the side of the road had made the incident worse.
