All vehicles were being transported after a successful 2017 Jaguar Simola Hillclimb event held annually in Knysna, South Africa. This occurred on the Monday following the weekends racing. No one was injured and the cause of the fire is as yet unknown. All cars are a total loss. Millions lost in terms of monetary value as well as the blood,sweat and tears of the people who built them.
