This was the scene in Liverpool city centre after a Mercedes left the road, clipped a bus stop and crashed into the wall of a pub. The smashed car ended up on the pavement between the bus shelter and The Liverpool pub in James Street. Miraculously no-one was injured in the crash which happened at around 6pm.
