Acura NSX
Taipei, Taiwan
This is most likely the first crash of the second generation Acura NSX (sold as a Honda outside of North America). This example is claimed to be chassis number 0000, to be test driven by journalists around the world. It crashed on October 3 in Taiwan. According to reports, the 27 year old man going by his surname "Hu" was driving the vehicle with the window open when a bee came in and stung him on the neck, causing him to lose control of the hybrid sports car and smash it on the barrier. It was believed that the driver was a journalist working for a local car magazine. The NSX in Taiwan is said to be worth $12.8 million NTD (about $408,000 USD), and only 9 examples were to be sold there. Fortunately, nobody was injured, and the accident is still being investigated.
