Police said the driver of a Lamborghini was speeding down MacGuire Boulevard in Colonial Town Center, hit a bump in the road, caught air and crashed the vehicle into a tree. The supercar split into two pieces and the driver and passenger were still strapped into their seats. The driver, identified only as a man, suffered a broken leg and the passenger suffered a head injury. Police said the man purchased the car just last week. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash.
