AN air ambulance was called to a crash between a Ferrari and a 'doctor on call' car. A spokesman for the Great North Air Ambulance said: "It was initially believed to be more serious than it turned out to be and the air ambulance wasn't needed. "We don't believe there were any significant injuries." Whitehaven and Egremont fire crews were on hand to ensure the scene was safe but on arrival the passengers were already out of the cars, one of which was a Cumbria Health On Call (CHOC) vehicle. Paramedics were also called to the incident.
