A car drag racing on Beacon Street early Saturday evening crashed on a sidewalk and hit a pedestrian in Boston’s Back Bay, police say. Police said two cars were dragging racing before one of them jumped the curb, knock down some fencing and struck the pedestrian on Beacon near Exeter Street. The pedestrian was taken to Brigham and Women’s Hospital. The extent of their injuries and current condition is unknown. The driver of the Bentley and the passenger, both men, jumped out of the car and got into a white BMW convertible and sped away from the scene. The car was last seen heading toward Storrow Drive.
