It’s certainly not the first time a test mule has been crashed on the Nurburgring. Few days ago, an Audi SQ7 prototype crash was caught on the film while it was testing. As can be seen in the video, the test driver entered the Karussell way too fast for the liking of the SUV and lost control and eventually hit the side barrier. The impact was such that the 2 ton SUV had its front wheels in the air for a few seconds.
