Saturday, 5 July 2014, I took part with my 944S in Porsche Club Poland track day in the Kielce Race Track. After one of the special stages, during the cooling ride down to the pit lane I heard some kind of explosion. Then I saw a smoke from the bonnet. Luckily fast response of fire rescuers helped save most of my car. Cause of fire - probably explosion of the brake fluid tank. Heat from the fluid melt the plastic parts of the intake and probably caused short circuit somewhere under the bonnet. Car will be rebuilt.
