Mercedes AMG-Series SL 55
Mercedes AMG-Series SL 55
Glendale, CA
A worker from an auto repair shop was test driving this car when he lost control. Speed estimates were conservative at 45-50 mph. This car was a salvage from the New Orleans area after Hurricane Katrina and may have had electrical problems. Driver was knocked unconscious and doesn't remember anything preceeding the collision. He was driving north on the 1500 block of Canada in Glendale, CA and slid across all four lanes of traffic and hit a City of Glendale Water and Power truck that was southbound approaching him. Car spun around and hit the retaining wall behind it.
